$15,000

As much as she tries to out-weird herself, Lady Gaga can’t exactly be called original. When the singer — most recently chastised for ripping off Madonna — comes through town for a second Phoenix date on her Monster Ball Tour, don’t expect many surprises. The tour that never stops has been going strong for nearly a year and a half. Once again, she’ll do the whole I’m-like-Tinkerbell-clap-for-me-or-I’ll-die shtick. She’ll show off a diet-thin body in a tiny bikini-like outfit, even though she tells fans to love themselves for who they are. And you can definitely expect more head-scratching videos like the one in which she’s puked on. One excuse to shell out big bucks for the mega-tour yet again? Maybe, just maybe, Gagaloo will switch things up a little and play more music on the piano — where she sounds the best. On a recent tour date, she stripped down “Born This Way” and made it an acoustic ballad, and the Billy Joel-like “You and I” could be her next smash — no Britney Spears dance moves required. Here’s hoping she treats her little monsters to something fresh this time around.
