Hemophobes, beware! The magic of Gunther von Hagen’s “Body Worlds” returns to the Arizona Science Center.
The controversial exhibit returns for its second time as “Body Worlds & The Brain.” Using a technique called Plastination — which may or may not be a snooty word for human taxidermy — actual deceased human bodies are preserved, sans skin, for the viewing pleasure of the living. Despite some ethical objections to the displaying of human remains, proponents of the exhibit are dead serious about the educational benefits to be had by visitors of all ages.
