The brainiacs behind the scenes at Chandler’s Gangplank are a rather handy lot.
Not only can the folks at the local technology-based collaborative space wield soldering guns or screwdrivers with aplomb, they also know how to handle a hockey stick. Every week, members gather on the rooftop of parking garage adjacent to their headquarters during Gangplank Hockey Night for an evening filled with puck-pounding glory. As the description on the event’s Twitter page as a “busted stick, busted lip, heckuva good time” indicates, these street hockey games can get a bit bloody at times — so bring a first aid kit as well as your own stick.
