Downtown’s After Hours Gallery is taking breakfast and badass monsters to a new level. This month, the art space introduces “Cereal Killer,” an exhibition from Portland-based artist Brian Kappel.

Kappel’s whimsical breakfast food parody includes his own mixed media approaches to “Atomic Bran,” “Zombie-O’s,” and “Psych-O’s” that are bound to put a little scare in your morning. Kappel, who also runs Space Monkey Designs, will show his work through November 4.

View the collection of murderous breakfast food weekdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and weekends by appointment.
