If the ball game and promise of endless parading, beer, chips, and dip isn’t enough to get you riled up for the annual Fiesta Bowl, be sure to check out the creative energy buzzing about during the Fiesta Bowl Art Walk. On Thursday, December 29, downtown Scottsdale will host a special edition of its weekly art walk with free food, live music, and receptions at dozens of galleries throughout the city’s arts district, bordered by Main Street, Fifth Avenue, Goldwater Boulevard, and the Scottsdale Civic Center.

The event runs from 7 to 9 p.m., and includes live demonstrations by watercolorists Irene Klar, David Barba, Marie Brumund, and Merrill Mahaffey and tours of Amery Bohling Fine Art, Biltmore Gallery, Bonner David Gallery, Calvin Charles Gallery, Lisa Sette Gallery, Method Art, Scottsdale Fine Art, and Scottsdale Exhibition Gallery, to name a few.
