Three years after local poets Ricquia Ross, Anthony Haskins, Lisa Glenn, and Harold Branch III joined forces to create a performance group and recurring open mic event called HomeBase, they’re welcoming the public to a special anniversary show on Sunday, January 15, over Martin Luther King Jr. weekend.

The night, which kicks off at 6 p.m. at the Wyndam Hotel, 50 East Adams Street, includes performances from local and national poets, music from Mother’s Favorite Child, and a variety of soul artists.
