Our ‘90s Nickelodeon upbringing and particular affinity for Melissa Joan Hart’s Clarissa Explains It All will forever make us wary of anyone bearing the name Ferguson, our undyingly cool role model’s annoying, Young Republican redhead little brother.
But we probably shouldn’t hold that against comedian and Late Late Show host Craig Ferguson. After all, we prefer him to other big-chin late night hosts and, TV junkies that we are, still appreciate his role on The Drew Carey Show.
