One chef will rule them all at Bite Nite, a culinary crusade pitting Valley chef against Valley chef to duke it out for the title of Heavyweight Champion.

A dozen local restaurants including Frank and Albert’s and Scottsdale’s Cien Agaves will compete in four different categories — appetizer, entrée, desert, and cocktail — and offer tasting-size samples meant to demonstrate ultimate delectability. Also in store: an auction for prizes such as a luxury suite at an Arizona Diamondbacks game, a trip to Hawaii, and an in-home cooking demo with Robin Miller from the Food Network.

Sat., June 9, 6-10 p.m., 2012
