Before brothers Ethan and Joel Cohen directed box hits O’Brother Where Art Thou and No Country for Old Men, they released a box office disappointment about a scruffy slacker in a bathrobe on a reimbursement quest to replace his beloved living room rug.

That film flop, a.k.a. The Big Lebowski, ended up turning into one of the late ’90s biggest cult classics. Now, to celebrate 14 years, four months, and two days of his royal dude-ness, local party planners Omega Consortium are hosting a bash. And it’s not just any party, it’s Lebowskifest 2012.

Grab your best bathrobe and be prepared to consume a Caucasian or two (we mean White Russians, dudes, not people).
