Nothing says love is in the air quite like chocolate, and there’s plenty of that at the Haute Chocolate Market & Festival, an evening affair featuring local artisanal chocolatiers, live entertainment, and more.
The event promises chocolate for all and includes a chocolate showpiece competition, judged by a panel of chefs, artists, and curators. Limited edition Heard Museum chocolates adorned with artwork by Jacob Meders, a local printmaker and artist, will be available for purchase. In addition to being an all-out chocolate fest, the event serves as an appetizer to the entree that is Heard’s upcoming exhibit “Chocolate, Chili and Cochineal: Changing Taste Around the World,” set to open Saturday, February 16.
