If we were giving away awards for best grilled cheese sandwich in the world, the prize would go to Mom. Hands down. Lucky for everyone else, we’re not in charge of the judging at the Grilled Cheese Throwdown 2013.
The annual event pits Valley chefs against each other in a head-to-head grill-off of the cheese variety. They’ll offer up twists on the after-school classic to compete for the title of best grilled cheese in the Valley. Chefs from 5th and Wine, Olive and Ivy, Hotdish Inc., and more will make the limited-seating event an afternoon of cheese- and booze-fueled fun.
