If high school history class had included live performances of notable events and featured characters dressed in full regalia, maybe we would’ve fared better on our AP test. (At least, we probably would’ve taken better notes.) Although we’ve missed our chance to score a four, we do have the opportunity to witness a live-action historical play at Native Trails. In its 11th year, the event chronicles Arizona’s native history, beginning with the First Nations, with the help of Hopi, Diné, and other tribe-associated actors. Accompanying the performance is a market of native artisan goods and food.
