$10,000

Though we miss Planet Earth Theatre, we derive comfort from Stray Cat Theatre’s mounting of PET’s 1997-98 hit, Chicks with Dicks, through Saturday, May 11. The gals of Satan’s Cherries biker gang deliver violence, leather, radiation-spawned appendages, violence, nostalgic B-movieness, lots of skin, cuties named Vespa DeAmour, Varla, Chantalle, and Kitten, and violence (approximately 22 fights, according to broadwayworld.com).

Directed by Stray Cat honcho Ron May, the show features so much sweaty girl-on-girl behavior that our fingers are slipping off the keyboard. Playwright Trista Baldwin is still making new plays, winning awards, and raising children, but Dicks will always have a special place in the Valley’s heart, so to speak.

Fridays, Saturdays, 8 p.m.; Sundays, 2 p.m.; Thursdays, 7 p.m. Starts: April 19. Continues through May 11, 2013
