What’s better than looking good? How about feeling good doing it. The DOPE Show (Designers Organized with PurposE) is a fashion-meets-fundraising event that showcases styles, both upcoming and upscale, while raising money to benefit #HashTagLunchbagPhx, an organization that works to end hunger. This 18-and-over event will roll out the red carpet for one night only and feature runway fashion, a fashion showroom, DJs, a hookah patio, cash bar, raffles, visual art, performance art, and live fashion art by Babe & Butter. There also will be contests for the best dressed and best walk, as well as a model search.
The Dope Show kicks off at 5 p.m. Sunday, April 27, at Monarch Theatre, 122 East Washington Street. General admission is $15 online in advance or $20 if purchased the day of at any Zia Records locations.
