Follow Last Drop Bar’s mustachioed spirit guide Travis Nass on Sunday, June 15, as he journeys through time and tastes in the pursuit of rum. The small, 10-person mixology class will go over the spirit’s long and unique history, all while exploring different brands, styles, and recipes — and ensuring plenty of time for questions from the crowd.
However, the best part of the whole class comes when Nass will mix up two different rum cocktails off-the-cuff based on what the cocktail students like to imbibe. If those cocktails are anything like what he typically mixes up at his bar, the drinks will surely be well-balanced and beautifully refined.
The rum-centric mixology class will take place at the Last Drop Bar at the Hermosa Inn located at 5532 North Palo Cristi Road in Paradise Valley beginning at 2 p.m. You can reserve your spot for $30 by calling 602-955-7878.
