With several book clubs — each dedicated to a different genre — there’s plenty of flavors for even the most voracious novel nerd to choose from. At 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 24, the Hardboiled Crime Club convenes at the Poisoned Pen to discuss Jonathan Woods’ debut novel, A Death In Mexico. Real people in an actual room together, discussing a book that they’ve all actually read…voluntarily. How wildly contrarian. You hardly see such a thing in schools nowadays.
