There are plenty of reasons to hate on Jay-Z’s guest rap in Beyonce’s “Drunk in Love,” apart from its glaring mediocrity. Dude compares himself to both Ike Turner and Mike Tyson, in addition to spitting about eating Queen Bey’s “breasteses” for breakfast. Ew. For pop art fans though, Hova’s line about botching an Andy Warhol painting might prove most offensive of all.

Recently, the Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts gifted ASU Art Museum six original prints by the late artist. While we’re fairly confident in our assessment that the on-view works won’t be additional collateral in the destructive sexual tornado that is the hip-hop power couple, you might want to head to 51 East 10th Street in Tempe sooner than later. Just in case.

See the works in the museum’s lobby (and conveniently not accompanied by Shawn Carter’s music) through September and will remain in the museum’s collection after that date. Hours on Friday, July 11, are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free. Visit www.asuartmuseum.asu.edu or call 480-965-2787.

Tuesdays-Saturdays, 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Starts: May 27. Continues through Sept. 13, 2014
