There’s no denying that there is something magical about Christmastime. It’s up to you whether it’s magical enough to transport a boy from his snow-covered home all the way to the North Pole to visit Santa and all his elves on a mysterious, dreamlike train. It’ll probably feel possible in Symphony Hall, 75 North Second Street, at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, November 30.
The Phoenix Symphony with the help of the Phoenix Girls Chorus and a special guest will lead the audience through a dramatic narration of the holiday classic, The Polar Express, as well as sing-a-long versions of well-known holiday carols. Arrive early for the Instrument Petting Zoo and other activities to get a peek at what the Symphony will use to bring this enchanted tale to life. Get tickets ($11 and up) by visiting tickets.phoenixsymphony.org or by calling 602-266-7464.
