As Mesa Urban Garden begins its third year, it’s giving the green light on an anniversary party. The community-grown get-together will feature live music by The Haymarket Squares, Andy Warpigs, and KNS; a group show by local artists including Tato Caraveo, Dump La Rock, Zachary Dean Glover, Disposable Hero, Such Styles, Michael 23, JB Snyder, Dain Quentin Gore, Shona Crawford, Rhondi Reardon, Margarete Beeson, Ellie Craze, Mene Tekel, Charles Wilkins, Thaddeus Mace Wike, and NO3MAD 9; as well as an art hunt by James B. Hunt, a.k.a. NXOEED. The Horticultured hoedown happens from 6 to 11 p.m. on Friday, January 16 at the Mesa Urban Garden, 212 East First Avenue, Mesa. Admission is free.
