She’s come a long way since 1965’s The Merv Griffin Show, and An Evening of Classic Lily Tomlin takes the performer back to her roots, with a set of observational comedy. Her range, as seen on television from Murphy Brown to The West Wing, and in films from 9 to 5 to I Heart Huckabees, proves that she truly has comedic chops — and then some.

The comedienne takes the stage at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 21, at the Chandler Center for the Arts, 250 North Arizona Avenue. Tickets are $48 to $68 and can be purchased through www.chandlercenter.org or the box office at 480-782-2680.
