Horses are so last year. 2015 is all about the ram. In celebration of this cosmic shift brought about by the Chinese New Year, the Arizona Chinese Lantern Festival is taking over Rio Vista Community Park in Peoria. The festival includes musical and dance performances, an Asian market, Mahjong tournaments, and a traditional Chinese wishing tree.
The festival runs from Thursday, February 26, to Sunday, March 1, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Rio Vista Community Park, 8866-A West Thunderbird Road in Peoria. Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 for seniors, and $5 for children ages 6 to 12. For more information, visit azlaternfetival.com.
