Keep Phoenix New Times Free
We’re aiming to raise $10,000 by April 26. Your support ensures New Times can continue watching out for you and our community. No paywall. Always accessible. Daily online and weekly in print.
If you attended the Downtown Phoenix Market on Wednesday, and you got a parking ticket, you may not have to worry about it.
According to market organizers, folks that parked in the lot on the southwest corner of McKinley and First Street may have been ticketed by mistake. Community Food Connect — the non-profit that runs the market — wants to assure farm fresh foodies that it’s okay to park in that lot during market hours, which are Wednesdays from 4 to 8 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m.to 12 p.m.
If you were unlucky enough to get a ticket, contact Cindy at (602) 493-5231 or cgentry@foodconnect.org
