A round-up of tasty morsels from Valley food blogs.

This week we have two recipes. One is nice and one is naughty. First, Angela Hardison’s healthful snack that’s brimming with good food choices that’s as easy as stirring up a few ingredients in a bowl. After that, a twist on a classic to satisfy your sweet tooth.

Hardison is doing her body good by snacking on fast food that isn’t really fast food. It’s just good food made fast. Now you have some inspiration to dip into this colorful chunky bean and corn salsa that lends itself well to many other chunked veg or legumes. The crunchy corn chip scoopers make it feel decadent.

Already ready for inspiration for what to do with all the Valley’s abundant citrus fruit. Shelley Sikora from the blog Back Pocket Recipes has an idea for you and while it might not be on your New Year’s resolution diet plan but it’s nice way to eat up some sweet tart grapefruit: Pink Grapefruit Pound Cake, oh yeah.

Hey metro Phoenix eaters, if you have a food blog or know of one we’ve missed, leave word in the comments section.
