There are a lot of reasons to love brunch. For starters, it’s an acceptable reason to drink before noon and secondly — well, actually, do you need another reason?
North Scottsdale residents looking for a new place to get their brunch on can now head to The Standard, the market/bar/restaurant that opened at 10050 North Scottsdale Road earlier this year. In addition to serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily, the restaurant now offers weekend brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

In addition to classic brunch fare such as eggs Benedict and omelets, the restaurant offers items such as braised brisket and grits and chicken and waffles with an orange chile gastrique.
On the drinks side, you can look forward to $8 Bloody Mary’s and $15 Bottomless Mimosas — and if you’re planning on visiting this weekend, you can also get a Facebook offer for one cent mimosas for the first 100 women during brunch.
