According to a post on the chef’s Facebook page, diners can expect to have Barrio Queen Gilbert by the end of the year.
The new restaurant will have good company including Sam Fox’s ZInburger, LoLo’s Chicken and Waffles, and Denver-Based Snooze an A.M. Eatery, all of which are expected to open in mid to late 2014.
Barrio Queen Gilbert will be Salcido Esparza’s fourth restaurant. She already operates Barrio Cafe in Phoenix, Barrio Queen in Scottsdale, and Barrio Cafe at Sky Harbor Airport.
