Could there possibly be any more to love about Rancho Pinot?

I didn’t think so, given chef Chrysa Robertson’s masterful touch with seasonal, organic vegetables and heritage meats (she is the founder of the local Slow Food convivium, after all). This is one of those rare restaurants where I’ve never had a disappointing meal. Somehow, it’s always pitch perfect.

But yes, there’s more on the horizon: Lunch.

Although her menu’s not gone to press just yet, Robertson was happy to talk about her plans for the weekday service, scheduled to begin October 11.

“It’ll be the same Rancho style,” she says. “I’ll do a mesquite-grilled burger, and Italian piadini sandwiches — which are grilled flatbread — with marinated, mesquite-grilled lamb and heritage pulled pork roasted Yucatan-style.” There will also be fish, pasta, and larger salads to round out the midday offerings.

Rancho Pinot’s lunch will be available Monday through Friday, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
