Now, with the announcement of the Scottsdale Searsucker’s new executive chef, it looks like Malarkey has found his “chops.” More specifically, Steve “Chops” Smith.
According to the Republic, Smith, who was last consulting for Kelly’s at SouthBridge in Scottsdale and whose resume also includes gigs at Different Pointe of View, Noca, St. Francis, Olive & Ivy, and the defunct Furio and Luc’s, has been hired as executive chef for Malarkey’s Searsucker in Scottsdale.
