Those Two Hippies have been gettin’ busy lately.
Following on the success of the original Two Hippies Magic Mushroom Burger, the quirky, affordable concept has since popped up in a variety of Valley eateries, including an additional location on north 7th Street, a taco shack on Camelback, two pizzerias (one on 7th Ave. and one on 43rd Avenue in Glendale) and a “breakfast joint” on 7th Avenue.
Last month, I reported that a Two Hippies Beach House is in the works for the old Alexi’s Cafe on 16th Street, and now there’s another spot on the verge of opening.
The third outpost of Two Hippies Pizzeria is set to debut next Wednesday, near 24th Street and Indian School Road (4034 N. 24th St.).
