Craving a burger? Bored with the usual?
Well you’re in luck. Today’s the opening day for 25 Degrees, an upscale burger joint/wine bar at the new CityNorth in north Phoenix. (The name, by the way, refers to the temperature difference between a medium-rare and well-done burger.)
It’s the third outpost of the restaurant, which also has locations inside the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel in L.A., as well as Hotel G in Beijing.
The menu features four signature burgers, as well as a build-your-own-burger option that includes a decadent variety of toppings — 13 gourmet cheeses (burrata and Point Reyes blue among them), 14 different sauces, and just as many extras (fried egg, bacon, and even sauerkraut). And along with wine and draft beer, there will even be root beer on tap and a Guinness milkshake.
L.A. restauranteurs Tim and Liza Goodell are the folks behind 25 Degrees, as well as Red Pearl Kitchen in Orange County and San Diego, and Dakota, also in the Hollywood Roosevelt.
