Independent Journalism in Phoenix Needs You
We need to raise $15,000 by August 9 to support the reporting our community depends on. Reader support keeps us independent and is playing a larger role in funding local journalism and shaping what comes next. If you believe independent local journalism matters, make a contribution today.
If seafood is an aphrodisiac, then Eddie V’s CEO Jim VanDercook announced an excellent date for the new location at Scottsdale Quarter to open to the public: Valentine’s Day.
“There’s a seductive quality to the new Eddie V’s,” he said.
The 8,800-square-foot eatery seats 275 guests and features an oyster bar, wine room, V Lounge, and three private dining rooms — one in a dramatic rotunda, one overlooking the lounge, and one behind the stage, with a speakeasy-inspired entrance.
Look for signature dishes such as steamed Hong Kong-style Chilean sea bass, lemon sole in parmesan crust, crabcakes, Prime steaks, fresh oysters, and more.
Located at Scottsdale Road and Greenway, the new Eddie V’s fills the void left when the upscale seafood restaurant closed its DC Ranch location last summer. Hours on opening night will be from 5 to 11 p.m. There will be live music, and couples will receive a special box of Valentine chocolates to take home.
