It’s been a year since Kevin the Makeout Bandit and his misfit DJ pals debuted their decadent dance night Party Foul!, which has become an electro-rock Pleasure Island for the stylish masses at Homme Lounge over the past 52 weeks. A lot’s gone down: Mixmasters like Bigie and Craig Citizen have unleashed more than 260 hours of sweat-inducing dance music; shutterbugs Photobrad and Mykespace have grabbed more than 16,000 candid snapshots of liquored-up patrons; and bartenders have slung approximately 4,932 Red Bull vodkas. (Not forgetting, of course, the numerous sex acts, face slaps, and dissings that have also transpired within the last year.) Sounds like some milestones worth celebrating, which the PF! Crew will do in spades with a two-night extravaganza this weekend. It starts off with a gig by electro/remix wizards LA Riots on Friday, June 26, at Homme, 138 West Camelback Road. SoCal’s MC Whiskey Pete and Dmndys, are also on the bill. Tickets are $8-$10. Old-school hip-hop party demons 2 Live Crew headline the next night at Club Red, 2155 East University Drive in Tempe, with appearances by Silver Medallion, TPMD, and others. Tickets are $10-$12. Doors open at 9 p.m. both evenings. Visit www.myspace.com/partyfoulaz.
