Will new Touch of Thai give Malee’s on Main, a long-running Old Town Scottsdale Thai spot, a run for their money?
Time will tell, but a little competition never hurt anybody, especially in a neighborhood where sushi is plentiful but spicy Thai cuisine is hard to come by.
Located at 4th Avenue and Scottsdale Road (7217 E. 4th Ave.), the restaurant opened just two weeks ago, serving specialties like lobster Panang curry, crispy chili catfish, and green papaya salad with grilled shrimp, as well as an assortment of vegetarian dishes.
The original Touch of Thai Phoenix location is at 35th Avenue and Bell Road (16816 N. 35th Ave.).
