The new iPhone drops and has the Internet going nuts like Paul Wall. Like the bling-mouthed Southern spitter, you feel compelled to stunt and cop the two-year AT&T contract just to keep up with Twitter.

In a world thirsty for attention and applause, Jason Koster seeks the Zen of one hand clapping. His “Devil Claw” exhibition features sharp black-and-white images of the devil-claw plant’s seedpods. Seen in sequence, each picture captures a striking figure dancing in a mesmerizing celebration of straightforwardness. The aim of Koster’s series, in his words, is to display the “simplicity of individuality without the need for ego or materialism.”

Fridays, Saturdays. Starts: June 20. Continues through July 12, 2008
