It’s been a few months since Minerva Orduño Rincón branched out from her role as a line cook at FnB to create her own brand of handcrafted Mexican food products, Muñeca Mexicana.
Now she’s ready to host her first pop-up, a limited-seating one-night-only event at the Scottsdale artisan venue, JAM. And from the looks of the menu, this one’s going to be good.

The five-course meal includes a mix of familiar and traditional Mexican ingredients – think bay scallop ceviche, chimichurri, elote blanco, mole poblano, prickly pear, plantain ice cream and more. The meal will also begin with a cocktail involving tepache, a homemade fermented pineapple drink that originates from the state of Jalisco.
