Hungry for your early morning serving of food news, with no preservatives or additives?

Papusas for the TinyFabKidney Fund
Do your good deed for the day and stuff your face at Salvadoreno Restaurant #3 where 50% of all tonight’s sales (yep, ALL) will go to the Dwivedi family and their TinyFabKidney Fund. The quaint Sunnyslope restaurant specializes in traditional central American food and delicious papusas, a thick corn tortilla stuffed with beans, cheese and other good stuff. This will be the third fundraising event for the TinyFabKidney fund, which you can learn more about here

Banana Spring Rolls
Having tired of the ol’ cupcake long ago we have been in search of a new dessert that we could really sink our teeth into. When we found Chocolate Banana Spring Rolls that search came to an abrupt halt. They look so good we can practically taste the warm chocolaty banana filling and the feel the crunch of the crispy wonton wrapper shell. We must have them!

Will you step up to support New Times this year?

At New Times, we’re small and scrappy — and we make the most of every dollar from our supporters. Right now, we’re $15,500 away from reaching our December 31 goal of $30,000. If you’ve ever learned something new, stayed informed, or felt more connected because of New Times, now’s the time to give back.
