Film collector and ASU West professor Fred Linch loves a big bowl of blood and noir himself, but he’d rather discuss the rationale of splatter that matters with his “The Unexplained: Vampires, Zombies, and Great Directors” program. Linch will exhibit clips from Quentin Tarantino’s From Dusk Till Dawn and dissect the pie-fight scene — complete with Laurel & Hardy soundtrack — from Romero’s Dawn of the Dead.
