After a silver medal win at the internationally-renowned San Fransisco Spirits Competition earlier this year, Arizona Distilling Co.‘s Desert Dry gin was definitely representing for our state’s ability to make craft spirits. Now the Desert Dry gin can add a second silver medal win to its list of bragging rights after the Gin Masters 2014 competition in London awarded the designation among 100 participating micro-distilleries.

The international gin competition is just one part in a series of spirit-specific awards known as the Spirit Masters. The Desert Dry Gin, which is distilled with local cardamom, coriander, citrus, apples, lavender, cinnamon, and more, was judged on aroma, flavor, and appearance.

“Our goal has always been to showcase Arizona and highlight something that is unique about it,” said Rodney Hu of Arizona Distilling Co. in a statement.
