After several years, El Portal in downtown Phoenix is once again open for business. The restaurant is owned by Maricopa County Supervisor Mary Rose Wilcox and her husband, Earl, and closed its doors in 2010 after receiving numerous bad heath department inspections.

The restaurant reopened two weeks ago, once again serving a menu of burritos, enchiladas, tacos, and soups.
