The musical-mélange master – who spins a pleasing mixture of Afro funk, soul música, Cubana, and more – is a wizard at flooding dance floors with positive energy. Now imagine said scene when it’s dude’s birthday, a CD-release celebration for The Neoprimitive 10-piece world-music band, and an ASU after-graduation get-together. Hot damn! Marinate your ears and shake your booty to all of this and more when Afro:Baile takes over The Loft. And just in case the aforementioned lineup doesn’t sound hip enough — can you hear the sarcasm in our voice? — Seduce booked NYC DJ Speek Greene of the raw-mic-meets-organic-beats project The Great Soul Parade.
