Brews to Benefit, a monthly happy hour that supports local and national charities, will be taking over Hula’s Modern Tiki on Thursday, September 5. In line with the restaurant’s theme, the featured craft beers will be brewed by Kona Brewing Co. From 6 to 8 p.m., patrons can get 4 beers for just $10 – and also benefit Heroes for Hope.
Given that this deal satiates both your beer belly and your conscience, it’s no surprise that past events have often sold out. It’s recommended that you purchase tickets early to get in the door and score 4 drink tickets so you can try Kona Brewing Co.’s Longboard Lager, Fire Rock Pale Ale, Big Wave Golden Ale, and Wailua Ale. Mike’s Shandy will also be a featured drink that evening.

A portion of the proceeds will go to support Heroes of Hope, a virtual fundraising effort that contributes to City of Hope National Medical Center. Located in Duarte, California, the center conducts a variety of research and treatment programs with the goal of preventing, treating, and curing life-threatening illnesses such as cancer and HIV/AIDS.
