If the godfather of Phoenix poetry wanted you to co-host a show with him, would you turn him down, even though you weren’t really into the whole co-host thing? Heck no, according to Shawnte Orion, who had previously turned down collaborating on any and all poetry gigs. “When Jack Evans, one of my favorites, asked me to co-host with him, I couldn’t say no,” says Orion.

Evans and Orion present the Caffeine Corridor Poetry Series. This month’s edition features two eclectic folks, namely, extensively published poet David Chorlton and performance artist Jeff Falk.

About the curating duty shared between the two hosts, Orion says, “Our tastes are diverse, and [Chorlton and Falk] typify what we like to put together — excellence is the common thread.”
