For those of you who grew up in the 1990s and were fans of cheapo martial arts movies, you probably still haven’t forgiven Jean-Claude Van Damme for not having illegitimately fathered you. It’s about time you let the wounds heal, and a good place to start is a screening of the Muscles from Brussels’ self-deprecating new film, JCVD, which features out-of-synch punching effects, stale over-funded acting, and lots of sad-faced Van Damme. Bloodfist II, starring Don “The Dragon” Wilson, rounds out the double-feature.
