$15,000

Following Sweet Republic’s stint last week on Food Network’s The Best Thing I Ever Ate, looks like another Valley ice cream eatery will be getting some cool television exposure.

Paletas Betty, the paleteria with locations in Chandler and Tempe and specializing in handmade Mexican popsicles, will be featured on the Cooking Channel’s Food(ography), the show of cultural food treats hosted by Mo Rocca.

The segment, called “Frozen Delights,” will include a sophisticated banana split, a sculpted semifreddo caramel, and jelly shots along with Betty’s small batch, handcrafted paletas. The show is set to air tomorrow, July 26, on the Cooking Channel. Check your cable guide for air times.
