Just in time for the NBA All-Star festivities this weekend, Open Gallery Bar & Grill is opening its doors tonight.
Owners Gary and Renetta Slone have been working hard to revamp the 7th Avenue space just north of Camelback that housed Tio Leo’s Mexican Grill & Cantina until last August. Now, it’ll be a restaurant by day (serving “soul food food with a Caribbean and Cajun flair to it,” says Gary Slone) and a hip-hop/R&B/multigenre nightclub after dark.
At the moment, the kitchen is still finalizing the menu, so they’ll only be serving appetizers until they host an official grand opening.
