Rumors about Eddie V’s not renewing its lease at DC Ranch were never confirmed by the management of the upscale North Scottsdale dining and retail complex, but it turned out to be true. The seafood restaurant closed yesterday.
In a press release today, Eddie V’s founders Larry Foles and Guy Villavaso — who are also behind Roaring Fork and Wildfish Seafood Grille — announced that they just started construction on their new location at Scottsdale Quarter.
The move coincides with the restaurant’s tenth anniversary.
When it opens in January 2011, the 8,800-square-foot space at the corner of Scottsdale Road and Greenway will feature three private dining rooms (one with a “speakeasy-style entrance”), a spacious outdoor patio, an oyster bar, and live music, and will seat 275.
