Cardinals Cupcakes for Game Day

What better way to show your support for the Arizona Cardinals than to eat an edible version of their mascot? It’s sort of like how ingesting certain animals is believed to give you the power of that animal in Asian cultures. But instead of eating monkey brains to be smarter, you can eat a Cardinal face to be a more devoted football fan.

There’s a cute team logo on the cupcake that Chompie’s is doing now through the duration of the postseason games, along with specialty cakes shaped like footballs or frosted to look like football fields.

Sprinkles (4501 N. Scottsdale Rd.) is getting into the team spirit, too, with a “Cardinals box” available through Sunday. It’s a dozen red velvet cupcakes decorated with red and white dots and the message “Go Cards.”
