To be honest, I was dead set on reviewing Left Hand Brewing’s Milk Stout today, but I’m so totally enthralled by the awesome Web site Left Hand has that I’m not sure I’ll be able to move past it. It’s a wonderfully complex site that incorporates video into a clean design that is absolutely smooth. Precisely like their Milk Stout incidentally.

Tastes: Like drinking the smoothest, chocolate milkshake you’ve ever had through a silk straw. Imagine Guinness infused with lactose and you’ll be in the right head space. There are a lot of dark chocolate notes here, but not overwhelmingly so. The carbonation level is perfectly low.

I got mine: at Taste of Tops where it is currently on tap. A glass will run you $6.

Goes with: desserts and meat marinades according to the Left Hand Brewing Company Web site’s beer cookbook.

$30,000

Verdict: No seriously, this Web site is amazingly cool. Oh! The beer? Yeah, yeah. It’s great. Go drink it right now. I’ll be doing the same.

Happy drinking!
