All over town, folks are doing the chicken dance. Last weekend’s Tour de Coops proved that — check out our slideshow if you missed it.
Now you have a chance to show off your design skills in the Poultry Project’s Chicken Coop Design Competition. This is a challenging one, folks: You are being asked to design a community chicken coop for use in rural Uganda.
Yep.
But before you dismiss it as too much work, this is for a good cause. The Poultry Project, a U.S.-based non-profit, aims to give HIV/AIDS-affected orphans a chance to become poultry farmers. Cool, huh?
