Ever since Niki D’Andrea and Mike R. Meyer’s cover story on faux celebrity/singer Sonny Long hit newsstands I’ve been waiting to see what Long would have to say about it. All was quiet until about four hours ago, when Long twittered this:

I would like to apologize to all my fans, family & friends for having to read a story filled with lies about me. My side of the story is coming soon!

Yup, that’s it. For now, anyway. Considering Long has been pulling this shtick for at least five years, I think we may hear a little more before this thing settles out.
