For those who prefer to make the most of Spring Break, the sun-drenched shenanigans continued Friday at the Pool Party at Block 1949.
Spring Bugorama at Firebird International Raceway
Sunday brought on plenty of black and blue arms thanks to the Spring Bugorama at Firebird International Raceway. Slugbugs from across the country came together for the longest running VW event in the Southwest. Bugorama buzzed with bugs ready for drag races, the town dump, and even one that doubled as a blackboard.
Great American BBQ and Beer Festival
On Saturday, food lovers flocked to downtown Chandler to The Great American Barbeque and Beer Festival to enjoy some delicious and messy BBQ meats, good local beer from SanTan Brewery, and great live punk performances from Goldfinger, Face to Face, VooDoo Glowskulls, and Buck-O-Nine.
